The steps involved in complying with an order issued by the Buildings Department include:

  • Reviewing and confirming the details of the compliance order.

  • Designing a suitable alteration or rectification proposal.

  • Submitting the application with all required documents and drawings.

  • Undergoing the approval process, which includes document review, site inspections, and coordination with relevant government departments.

  • Carrying out the alteration works in full compliance with all building regulations and standards to ensure safety and quality.

  • Upon completion of the works, submitting a final application to the Buildings Department for final inspection and approval. If all requirements are met, a confirmation letter for compliance closure will be issued.
